Remembrance Service 8th November 2018
Today the children, staff and parents took part in a poignant service of rememberance to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1 and remember those who have lost their lives to war. Children from all classes took part, sharing English work, poetry and art.
We then gathered around the war memorial and each class lay a wreath before taking part in a two minute silence.
Later on we entertained some residents from a local residential home. They enjoyed cakes and a chat with our year 6 children.
